K-Pop
Since we share a Korean heritage here at theHach, we felt compelled to do a post on something totally mind-blowing: K-Pop.
K-Pop was something I used to bust a gut laughing at in Korea everytime I heard it, but this thing is actually taking the world by storm!!! First, there was the Korean drama phenomenon which exploded all over Asia (even the Burmese had Korean movie stars’ pictures in their wallets!), where once you watched one episode, you had to watch all fifty and cry through every single one.
But this huge, glistening K-Pop starship has landed in North America, and people who don’t understand a single word are lip-synching to these songs!
So if you haven’t seen any and want to get a taste, here are some big ones in the past year or two:

When we first watched these, our jaws stayed on the floor the entire time…mesmerizing and terrifying all at once! Shocking – especially as this was a culture where twenty years ago you hardly saw a kiss on television.
